Phua Chin Eng

Director

The principal and driving force behind Landart, Phua Chin Eng holds a Bachelors Degree in Landscape Architecture (1996) and a Diploma in Urban and Regional Planning from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (1992). He is also a corporate member of the Institute of Landscape Architecture Malaysia (2000).

Phua Chin Eng has bagged several prestigious awards both for himself and for Landart in the past, among them:

• Best Designer for Architecture Awards from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (1993, 1994, 1995)
• First Prize in the International Students Design Competition for the Eco-Tourism Project in New Zealand (1995)
• Grand Prize in the logo competition conducted by Institute of Landscape Architects Malaysia (1995)
• Citation Awards in the IFLA (International Federation of Landscape Architects) International Students' Competition in Bangkok, Thailand (1995)
• Outstanding Bomanite Project Worldwide 1999 for the the Gold Coast Condominium Resort (2000)
• Best Bomanite Project in Region Asia/Australia for Cardos Automation System, Penang, Malaysia (2001)
• Best Housing FIABCI (Federation Internationale des Administrateurs de Bien-Conselis Immobiliers) Award 2004 for Laguna Merbok, Kedah D. Aman, Malaysia

Phua Chin Eng taps upon his expertise and knowledge to guide and lead the designing team and supply indispensable conceptual ideas both during the planning and designing stages. Mr. Phua's past professional experience in this field was at:
