Bryan Tang holds a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Architecture from UCSI University and a Master of Landscape Architecture from Deakin University, Australia. Driven by a deep passion for landscape design and horticulture, he has dedicated his career to creating meaningful environments that strengthen the connection between people and nature.
As a landscape architect, Bryan Tang strives to be both an influential thinker and practitioner, shaping spaces that foster harmony between built and natural environments. He believes that genuine care for the land is fundamental to sustainable design, and that the most successful landscapes are those that enrich human experiences while respecting ecological systems.
With more than a decade of professional experience, Bryan has worked on a diverse range of projects, from interior spaces and residential landscapes to large-scale urban developments and master planning. His portfolio reflects a multidisciplinary approach that balances design excellence, functionality, and environmental responsibility. Among his most significant achievements is leading the public realm and master planning for the Tun Razak Exchange (TRX), a landmark development that stands as a testament to his expertise in shaping transformative urban environments.
Bryan Tang’s commitment to design excellence was evident during his academic years, when he received numerous local and international accolades, including the Asia Pacific Biennial Design Award in China and the Landscape Architecture Australia Student Prize. His professional knowledge and industry contributions have also led to invitations to serve as an external assessor for several universities.
Throughout his career, Bryan has been recognised with multiple prestigious local and international awards. The Gamuda Green Iconic Office project received the Award of Excellence at the International Federation of Landscape Architects Asia-Pacific (IFLA Asia-Pacific) Awards 2023, while the TRX Public Realm and Streetscape Enhancement project was honoured with the Award of Excellence at the Malaysian Landscape Architecture Awards (MLAA) 2019. His work is guided by a passion for creating resilient, people-centric landscapes that not only enhance the quality of life for communities but also contribute positively to the long-term health of the environment.
