Job Responsibilities
As an Interior Designer, your responsibilities include:
- Participate in the entire project process with detailed layout plans and 3D drawings that accurately reflect the project requirements and specifications.
- To attend site meetings to discuss project updates, address any concerns, and collaborate with other stakeholders involved in the project.
- Conduct thorough inspections of project sites to assess progress, identify any discrepancies, and ensure adherence to design specifications.
- Incorporate feedback and suggestions from Senior Interior Designers or Team Leaders to refine and improve design concepts.
- Responsible for liaising with contractors to oversee the execution of design plans, ensuring that work is completed according to specifications and meets the highest standards of quality.
- Reporting project progress, regular updates and any issues encountered during weekly or monthly team meetings to ID Project Leader/HOD.
- Take on additional ad-hoc interior design duties or projects as assigned by the Project/Team Leader or Management, demonstrating flexibility and willingness to contribute to the team’s success.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Minimum Diploma/Degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
- Minimum 3-5 years working experience of experience in Architectural or Interior Design, including consultations, renovations, space planning, and new constructions.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, etc.
- Proficiency in space planning, design, material specifications & technical details.
- Demonstrating effective time management skills and a dedicated focus on achieving results effectively.
- Strong decision-making abilities, responsibility, presentation skills, commitment, and self-motivation.
