Job Responsibilities
As a Landscape Clerk of Work, your main responsibilities include:
To assist the resident Landscape Architect in the management and execution of project resources in accordance with the contract and work programmes.
Ensure a consistently high standard of quality control and supervision of landscape related works throughout the execution phase of the works.
Supervise the contractor’s performance and ensure that the landscaping works are in accordance with the drawings and specifications.
Act as the client’s agent for approving changes related to landscaping contracts.
Identify problems on site and recommend corrective action, issue site documentation to contractor.
Identify preventative measures to mitigate issues on site and support the project management team.
Ensure that safety requirements are strictly adhered to on all works.
Assist in the inspection and review of work carried out on site, reporting of complaints and any other site related work.
Requirements:
- At least a professional diploma/degree in landscape architecture or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years working experience in the landscaping industry with good knowledge of construction administration.
Decisive, good knowledge of construction methodology and specifications is a must.
Good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
